Project: Genesis Fitness Retail Store
Location: Fourways, Johannesburg
Timeline: January 2007
Description: This project modified the emplaced standards of the Genesis Fitness retail outlet. The conceptual elements required were minimal, with updates for the store a secondary aspect to the merchandise itself, but in no way less critical to the overall cohesion. Instead of completely overhauling the current standards, the project enhanced and exploited the most important existing features by augmenting the underlying facets of the retail store. In addition to borrowing from the existing corporate identity, the visual minimalism was streamlined, unnecessary elements were cleaned up and the modern approach was emphasized with simple, striking colours.
